The Flyfin 1600 Sport Open is the entry point to the Flyfin range and it doesn’t feel like a compromise to get there. At 4.9m, it’s light enough to tow behind almost anything and easy enough to launch solo, but it’s fully welded from 5083 marine-grade aluminium, not folded, so you’re not trading build quality for size. The 1600 is the boat for solo anglers and weekend fishers who want a proper Flyfin without the size or spend of a bigger rig.

The 1600 proves the smart choice and the well-built choice can be the same boat. It's compact and easy to handle at the ramp, but every hull in the Sport Open range — including this one — is fully welded, not folded, so the entry point to the Flyfin lineup still carries the full Flyfin standard.
