Why the 2300HT?

7m Offshore Fishing Boat

An 18° deep-V hull, roughly 480 litres of flooding ballast and a 200 to 350 hp rating give the 2300HT the stability and headroom to handle real offshore conditions, not just a sheltered harbour on a calm day.

Storage & Practicality

Two under-floor wet lockers and four internal shelves mean gear for an extended trip has somewhere dry to actually live.

Layout & Comfort

A spacious cabin, wide beam and configurable seating, from a fishing-ready cockpit to a relaxed aft lounge, give the 2300 room to move, while a side door built into the hull makes getting on and off the water easy.

Premium Upgrades

Fully welded aluminium construction and upholstered hardtop roof panels mean the finish holds up to the same standard as the build underneath it.

The 2300HT is available as a hardtop, a centre console or a cuddy cabin. Every layout shares the same offshore-capable hull, dimensions and construction standard, so you choose the layout that suits how you fish and how you use the boat with family.

Yes. The 2300HT is a 7m offshore fishing boat with an offshore performance deep-V hull, a flooding ballast compartment of around 480L, sealed buoyancy compartments and a full buoyancy hull. The hardtop and toughened glass keep the crew protected in changeable weather, from the Hauraki Gulf to the Bay of Plenty.

The standard 2300HT package includes a Mercury 200 hp outboard, and the hull is rated for 200 to 350 hp. Talk to the Flyfin team about the right engine for how far offshore you plan to go and how you'll load the boat.

Yes. The forward cabin is separated from the main cockpit by a partition bulkhead with a grab rail and pocket, and it has carpeting, three cabin squabs with an optional infill, a drop-down cabin floor and upholstered panels in the hardtop roof.

The 2300HT has a dry hull weight of 1000kg, and its trailer weight is 2200 to 2600kg depending on specification. It comes on a tandem-axle Flyfin Aluminium Trailer with a 6mm 5083 heavy-duty welded frame, a 1500kg axle rating with leaf springs and an equaliser, and an extra-low design for easy launching.

The 2300HT is 500mm longer than the 2100HT, with a slightly wider beam, a 250L fuel tank instead of 200L, a higher 200 to 350 hp rating and a larger flooding ballast compartment. It also adds a partition bulkhead between the cabin and cockpit and upholstered hardtop roof panels. The 2100HT remains an excellent choice for coastal days and shorter family trips where a smaller boat and trailer suit best.

Yes. Beyond choosing a hardtop, centre console or cuddy cabin layout, you can tailor seating, storage, electronics, accessories and finish, including a choice of standard Flyfin solid colours. Because every boat is built in Papamoa Beach, many custom requests can be accommodated during the build.
